Ensuring Safety for High-Performance Components in a Central Compute
Architecture
Software-defined vehicle architectures require high performance and functional safety risk mitigation. We were brought in early in the development of a full ADAS stack built on top of a hypervisor and powered by multiple high performance GPUs. We worked with the hypervisor architects to analyze and mitigate safety risk without impacting performance. We trained and coached new Safety Managers throughout the organization. We also provided hands-on support for the functional safety work on the camera, media, GPU core services, and connectivity components.
This vendor went on to achieve tremendous success in safety-critical central compute design wins with several European OEMs.
